30 years ago today Andrew Turner moved to Manly, Brisbane as a wide eyed 15 year old to start his sailmaking apprenticeship. It is a passion and a career which has taken him on many adventures around the world, given him the chance to meet some amazing people and make life long friends. The skills involved in creating the perfect sail have changed dramatically over the time he has been in the industry, but the concepts are the same and the technology just takes the art of the trade and allows it to become a lot more accurate.

Andrew is still as in love with sailmaking as the day he started working and couldn’t imagine doing anything else with his life.
