Andrew is the owner of Ullman Sails Brisbane in Wynnum, and is a trusted expert in sailing and sailmaking in Australia.  A sailmaker for over 25 years, he has owned and operated his own loft for 15 years after working for Lidgard Sails in Auckland, New Zealand.  He has extensive experience working with several major racing campaigns, including the Maxi catamaran Sony PlayStation as well as super yachts, ship sails and many high level grand prix race projects.

On the racecourse Andrew is an avid competitor with a strong background in multiple dinghy, skiff, sports boat and beach cat classes. Some of his most successful racing campaigns include notable results in the Contender World Championships, as well the Sydney Hobart Race and Hamilton Island Race Week aboard the Perry 66ft ‘Icon’. He also has extensive offshore experience competing in the Brisbane to Noumea Ocean Race, multiple Sydney Hobart Races, and eight Brisbane to Gladstone Races to-date.
